Villages Online is expanding and becoming a useful tool for many people across the UK and also to community website owners. We have been adding many new features to the site and we have many more ideas to put together and develop. To help build on the success of the website so far we are looking for people to join the Villages Online team to keep the website moving forward as well as being updated regularly. To start with these positions are voluntary, but as the website expands and we start to get sponsorship the people that have helped on a voluntary basis will be look at for paid positions.
There are currently 3 positions we are looking for people to fill:
We are looking for someone to help make changes to the website listings and also to help write more content for the site (including news, events, articles etc), only basic HTML knowledge is needed as we have developed a content management system for Villages Online to make updating easy and quick.
This is only a small job which is required when needed, but we are looking for a graphics designer that can help produce various graphics for the Villages Online website, some work may be paid if a advertiser requires help with their advert. There also may be some extra paid work on other websites following the work on Villages Online.
We are looking to push promotion of the site during 2005 and are already talking to a few countryside magazines about running articles. We are looking for someone with PR experience who would be willing to help us produce press release and help push the PR of the site as the website expands.
If you are interested in any of these positions, please do get in touch with us by sending an email to [email protected] and we can discuss the positions further and helpfully welcome you to the Villages Online team.
