A start of a new decade and the start of an exciting year and hopefully another decade for the website. Villages Online has now been around for 10 years and we want to make this year special by taking the website to the next level this year. With all the recent snow, we expected most of our visitors to be out enjoying the new snow, but we were wrong. We have been noticing a large increase of visitors during this cold spell and have notice similar spikes during over cold periods. We have taken this on board and plan to build features to help people during these times to help communities work together to keep people updated with the current situation in the local area.
And finally an apology. We know we kick started the website last year, but didn't continue the pace during the second half of 2010. Various factors caused this, but in turn this has allowed us to push twice as hard this year.
